People don't become wise just because they die

People don't become wise just because they die. They die, and then they learn a lot about life.

People sometimes expect that those who have passed suddenly understand everything. That they know the lottery numbers. That they can explain the meaning of life. That they'll deliver a neat little package of cosmic wisdom tying up every loose end they left behind.

They don't.

Death gives a different perspective. That's all it gives. Not enlightenment. Not omniscience. No halo and no backstage pass to the universe's deepest secrets.

Your dad is still your dad. Stubborn. Funny in that very particular way only he was. Still grumpy about the things he was grumpy about. Still soft in the places he was soft.

Most mediums won't say this out loud. The whole love-and-light performance depends on the dead being quietly upgraded to angels, because angels are easier to sell than the reality of real, perfectly ordinary dead people and their individual personalities.

It's important to say this, because it distorts people's idea of what comes next, of what the other side of life is actually like.

A real message from the other side rarely arrives with a perfect smile and a stock phrase like "your grandad sends his love". That sort of sentence could belong to anybody. Even if your grandad did want to send his love, he'd almost certainly say it in a very specific way, because he's your grandad.

In fact, if my grandad had come through to a medium and said "he sends his love", I'd have run for my life. Both my grandfathers were, shall we say, special people. But that only proves my point!

A real message is often a bit clumsy. Specific. Sometimes funny in a way that makes you laugh through the tears. Occasionally uncomfortable. It carries the personality of the person who died, not the personality of whoever happens to be writing the reading.

That's what actually gives people comfort. Not the polished, professional front, but the raw recognition. Real contact feels real.

I don't change the message to make it easier to swallow. I write down exactly what I see, hear and feel, and whether it's good, bad or downright ugly, I deliver the naked reality.

If you want the unvarnished truth about what your people on the other side are trying to tell you, or if you're looking for clarity in your life with no sugar coating at all, you know what to do.

Advert: READINGS COST 1,500kr. They are personal, specific and detailed. I make a point of writing down exactly what I see; I don't change it in any way to make it easier to read. Every reading is longer than 2 A4 pages and takes at least two hours to write. I give each reading the respect it deserves and the time it needs, whether that's two hours or six. I've worked as a psychic, medium and healer for nearly thirty years, I love what I do, and I'm proud of it. If you'd like a reading, send me a message on Messenger and we'll take it from there. If you're feeling brave, Vipps to number 469 46 054 and send me a message afterwards. I work through each reading in the order it comes in. Hope your week's going well, Facebook folks!
