When a dead man demands I deliver a difficult message

When a dead man demands I deliver a difficult message.

Early today I sent a reading to someone, and for the first time in a long while, I doubted it afterwards.

My client is a woman in her early thirties, and I see or speak to her almost every day. She wanted me to look at a few different areas of her life, which is no problem at all. She also wanted me to make contact with her (dead) grandfather, who she was very close to. Again, no problem.

As soon as I began the reading, before I had even put pen to paper, her grandfather marched into my office and made it clear that he was going to be heard.

His energy was very strong, almost overwhelming. He was full of anger, frustration, despair and quite a lot of sadness.

Okay, so this isn't as bad as it sounds. I like dead people with plenty of energy, it makes my job easier. The more energy they come through with, the easier it is for me to maintain a good connection with them, and the clearer their communication is (believe it or not). It's a bit like talking with CAPS LOCK on, you can't misunderstand what they're saying.

Anyway, to cut a long reading short, there was something he really, really wanted me to tell my client. Obviously I'm not going to tell you all of it, but it's safe for me to give you an extract of what he wanted me to say:

. . . you know nothing about other people's lives, why they do what they do, what led them to where they are in life, and you definitely do not know best!

. . . you're preening your feathers, creating drama for the sake of drama, when there's already more than enough drama in your own life . . .

. . . You are showing yourself to be a short-sighted, demanding, know-nothing person who thinks she knows everything!

. . . you should be ashamed and embarrassed . . .

Okay, the point here isn't to discuss whether he's right or wrong, or whether my client needs a kick up the backside. The point is whether it's right for me to smooth over her grandfather's message, to give my client a sweet before the bitter medicine.

Phew. I didn't want to upset my client any more than necessary, I like her rather a lot.

I was then immediately and energetically reminded by my own dead that I have a strict policy of "saying it as I see it" — or in this case, writing it as I feel it.

In the end I warned my client that what her grandfather says was not going to be easy to read, but that I had written it clearly and honestly. I changed nothing, altered no meaning and softened no part of the message. I also explained that her grandfather was quite upset and that he felt his "outburst" was justified.

Sometimes the hardest messages to hear are the ones we need to hear most of all. It isn't my place to act as an editor, I'm just here to deliver the message. After all, if the people who love us can't get us back on track and give us a reality check, who can?

I wanted to give you a snapshot of my morning and the reading I was working on. This afternoon I'm going to "read" a horse, an entire hip belonging to a man in Tromsø, and start a reading for a lady who has asked for something very, very interesting.

She wants to know how other people see her, what they think about her and what their experiences of her have been. She wants what I consider to be the ultimate reflection. Not many people are able to look at that reflection and accept it — it requires them to drop their ego, to let it go, and that isn't easy!

OMG, I would love to keep chatting with you all, especially about what I'm working on, but then I wouldn't be working on it, would I 🙄.

It's nearly the weekend. I hope you all have a good one!

Ad: READINGS COST 1,500kr. They are personal, specific and detailed. I make a point of writing down exactly what I see, I don't change it in any way to make it easier to read. Every reading is longer than 2 A4 pages and takes at least two hours to write. I give every reading the respect it deserves and the time it needs, whether that's two hours or six. I have worked as a psychic, medium and healer for nearly thirty years, I love what I do, and I am proud of it. If you want a reading, send me a message on Messenger and we'll take it from there. If you're feeling brave, Vipps to the number 469 46 054, and send me a message afterwards. I work on each reading in the order it is received. I hope your week is going well, Facebook folks!
