Strip out the ego and here is what is actually left
I promised you an answer to an important question, and here it is.
If all the ego-based things in our lives meant nothing to us, what would we be left with? What would actually matter?
First of all, a deep change would take place inside us. We would stop being obsessed with appearance and social status. We would let go of the need to prove that we are worthy of what we have or of who we think we are. And we would stop comparing ourselves to other people. All of that would fade into insignificance.
So what would we be left with? We would be left with the fundamental human experience.
1. Love. Whatever we do, we cannot get away from it. It is part of the human condition.
2. Connection — to the people and the places around us.
3. Personal growth — the desire to explore, grow and develop as a person, because of our natural curiosity.
4. The wish to understand our place in the universe.
So is this the life our dead friends and relatives are living? In a way, yes. There is more to the picture than any of us can see while we are living on this side of life.
AND it is my belief that while we still have a physical life, we should use it fully. It would be a waste of something utterly priceless to try to live a purely spiritual life while we have the experience of a physical one.
So where does that leave us?
Well, it gives us an idea of where we might have gone wrong in the development of modern humanity. TikTok and Mark Zuckerberg are doing us no favours.
But it also tempts us with the thought that maybe shuffling off this mortal coil is the only way we can ultimately evolve. Maybe there is such a place as heaven? Controversial.
Let us bring this back down to earth, because we got a bit carried away.
Our dead almost never care about the physical things they have left behind. This is something I can say with absolute certainty. They tell me so every day. Houses, cars, boats, cabins — it all means very little to them.
BUT. They do care about what happens to it all. If my dead mother decided her cabin should go to my sister, and I decide to keep it for myself, my mother is going to be seriously pissed off. She does not care about the cabin. She cares about how I treat her and my sister.
So there you have it, folks. That has been a long way round to say this: being alive in a physical body is a bit like being on a playground as a child. At some point the fun has to end and we have to go home. Some of us will throw a tantrum and be dragged off screaming and kicking. Others will leave peacefully with the promise of an ice cream if we behave.
I will probably be the last one to leave, having found a bit of dog muck to play with 🙄
Happy Tuesday, you beautiful Facebook folk 😄

Ad: Readings cost 1,500 kr. They are personal, specific and detailed. I make a point of writing exactly what I see. I do not change it in any way to make it easier to read. Every reading is longer than two A4 pages and takes at least two hours to write. I give each reading the respect it deserves and the time it needs, whether that is two hours or six. I have worked as a psychic, medium and healer for nearly thirty years. I love what I do and I am proud of it.
If you would like a reading, send me a message on Messenger and we will take it from there. If you are feeling brave, Vipps the number 469 46 054 and send me a message afterwards. I work on each reading in the order it arrives.
I hope your week is going well, Facebook folk 😊
