Interesting facts about Yorkshire!

1. It has the same population as the whole of Norway.

2. There are more sheep in Yorkshire than there are people (I made that one up ;-) ).

3. Yorkshire has the oldest pub still in use, called The Bingley Arms. It dates back to before the age of the first king of England (whenever that was!). It also has the highest pub in England. I have been there. I do not much like it.
