A dead man’s frustration

Make it stand out

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

I was in the middle of a reading this morning, chatting with a client's (dead) brother. He made it clear to me how pissed off he was, really frustrated. After a moment, he said, "She worries ALL THE TIME. She thinks too much and just goes round in circles. She worries to a point where she doesn't listen... not to herself, not to me, not to anyone!" And then he called her a few names that Facebook would prefer I don’t repeat.

Indecision, indecision, indecision.

I am mentioning this because it got me thinking about how much I ruminate, allowing things to go round and round in my head. What would happen if I didn’t, if I just acted on the initial intuitive feeling?

That's it though, isn't it? That's the key to getting on with things, making things happen. Yet so many of us, me especially, allow ourselves to be paralyzed by our thoughts and worries.

We are stuck in our heads, writing endless pro/con lists. "Should I take the new job?" "Should I leave this relationship?" "What if I move and I hate it?" "What if I fail?"
We are so terrified of making the "wrong" choice that we make no choice at all - or we wait until the very last moment, and then go with the choice we considered right at the start!

EXPLODING HEAD EMOJI

Our heads are calculators. They are designed to see risk, and then shout about it. But our soul, spirit, intuition, our gut feeling, HELPERS — they already know the way. They are telling us what they think, what they believe is the best thing for us to do, but we block out the advice with the noise in our heads.

The people on the other side, like this client's brother, see this so clearly. They see us walking in circles, completely deaf to the very guidance we are begging for. Imagine how incredibly frustrating it is for them.

So what can you do about it? Well, you can ask me for a reading and I will tell you what you should hear. Or, you can recognise that you are going round and round and consciously stop. Take a moment, just a moment, and breathe. Look towards your intuition and listen to what it is saying. Pay attention to how you feel.

If you really want to get a grip on things, you can ask your Helpers for their input and you will probably get an instant response 🙂.

There are times when I think I should give myself a reading, have one of my (dead) friends or relatives give me the benefit of their advice.  It’s a powerful tool, I wouldn’t write them if they weren’t.

It's not about me telling you the future, unless that’s what you want, it's about me stepping in as a translator. Cutting through the noise and telling you what your people on the other side of life are trying to say.

Stopping for a moment, stepping off the insane hamster wheel in order to just “be”. To notice what the spirit in us is trying to say, what our Helpers really want us to hear. In doing so, we would be doing ourselves a great favour.

Stillness, clarity and perspective. We all need them in order to be okay with the choices we make - big or small.

If you're tired of thinking round and round or feel the need for some clarity, then you know what to do.
If you do nothing else today, stop, and breathe, you beautiful people 🥰
