We are all looking at the wrong side of the tapestry
Today my Helper (Edward) said something clever. I don't admit that often, especially not to him, but I was working my way through a concept and he put it into words that genuinely made sense.
Life often feels like a tangled mess of different threads. We think we're getting somewhere, and then something comes along and wrecks it — one step forward, two steps back. It feels like fate is laughing at us.
We're all focused on the one thread in our hands right now: the frustrating job, the difficult conversation, the unexpected bill, the kids ruining their new clothes. . . again!
We're completely absorbed in the detail, living out the drama, trying to untangle the knots as they appear.
But what if all those apparently random threads — the joyful ones, the painful ones, the beautiful ones, the plain annoying ones — are actually part of a massive, intricate tapestry we're creating?
The problem is that we're too close to it. We're on the back of the cloth, seeing only the tangled ends and the chaotic stitching. We have no idea that on the other side a masterpiece is slowly taking shape.
We can't see how the dark, difficult thread from ten years ago actually created the perfect shadow that makes the brighter colours pop today.
We only get to see the finished picture when it's finished.
Well, I'm impatient, and there's no chance I'm waiting until I'm dead to see what my tapestry looks like. And you shouldn't have to either.
But that's also what a reading can do (shameless advert for readings). It gives you the chance to step away from the loom for a moment and look at the work from a distance. It's a chance to see how all those separate, chaotic threads connect and form a coherent picture, and it helps you understand the "why" behind the knots.
It doesn't untie all the loose threads for you, but it can show you the beautiful picture you're creating. And sometimes that perspective is all you need to drop your shoulders and get back to it with a bit of fresh peace.
I know this isn't a new concept, but I like it, and it fits with my simple view of the world 🙂
I hope you have a fantastic week, you beautiful people! 🥰

Ad: READINGS COST 1,500kr. They are personal, specific and detailed. I make a point of writing down exactly what I see, I don't change it in any way to make it easier to read. Every reading is longer than 2 A4 pages and takes at least two hours to write. I give every reading the respect it deserves and the time it needs, whether that's two hours or six. I have worked as a psychic, medium and healer for nearly thirty years, I love what I do, and I am proud of it. If you want a reading, send me a message on Messenger and we'll take it from there. If you're feeling brave, Vipps to the number 469 46 054, and send me a message afterwards. I work on each reading in the order it is received. I hope your week is going well, Facebook folks!
