The dead don't care about your Tesla

The dead don't care about your Tesla.

Anne Kristin recently asked me a cracking question: "What new perspective do those who have died get? Is it just more of the same ego and chaos on the other side?"

That's a big question. And the answer is a real, honest reality check.

Shortly after we die, we drop most of our material baggage, all the stuff we spend our whole lives chasing. It simply disappears. All the clobber we think is so important in our physical lives just falls away.

This is why your dead relatives don't give a toss what colour you paint the cabin, but they do care that the family actually uses it. They want to see and feel the joy you get from being there.

They see us differently from how we see ourselves.

They see the mess. They see all the nonsense we surround ourselves with, the constant, exhausting race to have more, be more, earn more. From their side, they aren't impressed by your bank balance or whether my Tesla is bigger than yours. To them, a new Tesla means nothing.

(Tesla are not sponsoring this post, but if you're reading this, Elon, do get in touch 😉)

What does matter to them is that you are doing something.

They see our physical lives as a unique, brilliant opportunity to experience the meatiness of existence. They don't value a life spent in quiet prayer or waiting for the universe to sort things out. They value the things that make us feel.

For the dead, a worthwhile life isn't about how spiritual we are. It's about whether we actually live whilst we're here.

Action is the soul's currency.

It's painting a wall because you love the colour. It's driving a lorry because you're king of the road. It's making a sandwich, planting something in the garden, dancing, or learning something new. It's being Iron Man! (If that's what fires your passion.) Doing means turning thoughts into action, and actually tasting the experience.

The meaning of your life is not to be spiritual.

You're already spiritual, and you're going to be spiritual for all eternity after you die. The point of being here, in this heavy, often difficult world, is to grow by having experiences. New, different and unexpected ones. With every experience we create a memory, and it's through our experiences and memories that our soul grows.

We run a race for material status that we can never, ever win. The dead shake their heads at us and watch us hit the wall because we're stressing over things that last a very short time, and that simply don't exist once the body's gone.

The perspective from the other side is simple: live whilst you're alive.

Stop waiting for the afterlife to find peace. Use this physical interface, your physical life, for what it was meant for: experience.

Advert: READINGS COST 1,500kr. They are personal, specific and detailed. I make a point of writing down exactly what I see; I don't change it in any way to make it easier to read. Every reading is longer than 2 A4 pages and takes at least two hours to write. I give each reading the respect it deserves and the time it needs, whether that's two hours or six. I've worked as a psychic, medium and healer for nearly thirty years, I love what I do, and I'm proud of it. If you'd like a reading, send me a message on Messenger and we'll take it from there. If you're feeling brave, Vipps to number 469 46 054 and send me a message afterwards. I work through each reading in the order it comes in. Hope your week's going well, Facebook folks! ❤️
