Love and light doesn't pay your bills
"Love and Light" doesn't pay your bills, and it doesn't tell you what you NEED to hear.
I've had enough, enough, enough of the sugar-coated nonsense I hear day in and day out from others in my profession. We're bombarded by people telling us to "just stay positive" and "send love" to every problem. WTF?!!!
That isn't spirituality. That's avoidance, plain and simple.
Life is meaty. It's heavy, it's messy, and sometimes it's just plain hard. Spirit is light, quick and unlimited. The body is the opposite. It's meaty because it's heavy, it gets tired, it gets ill, and it needs constant maintenance.
"We're spirits trying to navigate a meaty world. It's like trying to run a race underwater. The resistance is real."
When we're drowning in the noise from our past, our family, other people's expectations, or most obviously our own heads, then a "bless you" or "surrounding you with love" or "oh, here's a crystal to keep in your pocket" isn't going to help you one bit.
The Love and Light crowd want us to stay in a sterilised, perfect version of ourselves. They want to paint over the cracks. I don't.
Sometimes Love and Light needs a dose of reality, because reality is the world we actually live in.
In my work, and in my readings, I give direct, usable, meaningful help, and real, honest connections with friends and relatives on the other side. I'm not looking for the nicest or easiest thing to say, because there's no point. It doesn't give people what they need.
Yes, sometimes we all need somebody to tell us that life is shit, but that it's going to get better. The thing is, even that can be said honestly, in a way that has more value than "know that you are loved".
If you want somebody to tell you that everything happens for a reason whilst your life feels like it's falling apart, then I'm not your man. But if you want real honesty, and you want to know the truth about yourself (underneath all the baggage), the situations you're in, or the life ahead of you, then I'm definitely your man.
To change the subject slightly...
